Get out the Vote: Pepsi Refresh for Wisconsin
Make sure to check out the Pepsi Refresh challenge. A quick search for “Wisconsin” brought up 41 projects from organizations and individuals around the state.
In addition to using your 10 votes a day (vote for multiple projects- or spend them all in the same place!), it’s really fun to see all of the cool project proposals.
And they make it easy. To be honest, I was annoyed when I tried to vote only to be greeted by a “please sign up and create a log in” page. Really, I was going to abandon ship. But I kept reading and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to sign in using a Facebook account and to promote your votes using twitter.

Bob’s House for Dogs
So this post started as an experiment with YouTube. Type in Wisconsin Nonprofit, see what comes up. The first few entries were from galas, dinners, awards ceremonies…nothing you’d really want to watch unless you were either at the event or already invested in the cause.
And then, Bob’s House for Dogs – a short clip with a couple hundred views. This piques my curiosity because dogs are always cute. I watch it:
Obviously, the clip is from last April – what happened? Did Bob’s House for Dogs get off the ground? I need to know!
